Sally Lesh was a mother of eight, a descendant from royalty, a traveler from New England to bush Alaska, an inn keeper, cow milker, weaver, ferry steward, farmer, wife to a doctor, and author of Lunch at Toad River. Read her down-to-earth life story spanning 84 years full ingenuity, humor, independence, and a love of life as it unfolds.
While not much is known about Lesh, from what we can find online, she passed away at the age of 91 in 2011, and was a loving neighbor.
This is a first edition, paperback copy of this book, signed by the author. In great used condition, with just a small blemish on the edges of the paper (lower right-hand corner), as seen in the photos.
