Description
Has a book title ever been so apt? Pasta by Design explores the geometry and structure behind more than ninety pasta shapes, pairing each with intricate diagrams and insightful commentary. (Just check out the sample page where he and photographer Stefano Grazini examine fusilli.) George L. Legendre treats pasta as both an everyday staple and a work of natural engineering, creating a visually striking, unexpectedly delightful book for food lovers, designers, and anyone curious about the artistry behind what we eat.
This is a hardcover edition of the book in good used condition, but does have some dings to the edges, as documented in the photos here. Also, it has the black line along the bottom, and there’s a ding in the back (see photos). Was not published with a dust jacket. The pages themselves are in excellent shape.
